Light and Shadow at High Ridge, Westminster

(Acrylic on stretched canvas, 2008) (SOLD) My favorite painting location at High Ridge Wildlife Management Area, Westminster, continues to inspire me. This particular scene in the late afternoon at High Ridge was attention-grabbing. The craggy, yet thriving, maple tree was in the spotlight as the sun spread its warmth over the trunk and flourishing limbs. On this warm day I was glad to enter the welcoming cool shade along the path!
